Our Story
It has been a wonderfully enlightening journey for me both as a lecturer and a co-author of the different modules and an observer of how the lights go on for the students during the various courses.
I hope and trust that Core will continue to blow people’s minds with its accuracy and outstanding results.

About
Dr. Helene van Diemen
Helene started in the world of alternative therapy around 20 years ago, doing Aromatherapy on a part-time basis from home. Her massage became very popular, and she had quite an array of regular clients, but working from home became more and more difficult as her children grew up, and quiet space became a problem.
She decided to do courses in other therapies which she pursued with great enthusiasm, some of which are:

Touch for Health (Basic Kinesiology)
BodyTalk (all modules)
Esocen (Heal your Past Present & Future)
Herbalism (master certificate)
Iridology (basic)
Reiki (master)
Acutouch (home study)
All of these were wonderful tools but remained lacking something for Helene, and she decided to write her own course, and CORE REGENERATION was born, which now has grown to 4 modules, and the 5th is in the pipeline.
She incorporated people with good training and qualifications in certain disciplines and used their skills together with her own to put together some of the modules. She also attended courses for greater insight and understanding and therefore expanding on the Core:
2004 Received an Hon Doctor's degree from the Traditional Healers Council of Malawi
2012 Completed her Ph.D and qualified in Holistic Life Counselling
2015 Attended and completed 8 modules at the Centre of Applied Jungian Studies
2018 Completed a course in Laughter Therapy

Healthstyles was another of Helene’s innovations, which she initiated together with Dr Carel van Eeden in 2003. This was an attempt to set up a network of therapists where anyone could visit the website and pick a therapist of their choice to contact.
Together with Leigh Cator, Helene is involved in house and business clearings and team days in certain corporate companies. Leigh and Helene make a formidable team and are very active in all that Healthstyles has to offer.

Leigh Cator
Leigh Cator met Dr Helene van Diemen in 2004 and joined the Healthstyles team. Together they have been working as an excellent team ever since, teaching workshops and courses, guiding meditations, running team integration days, doing house and business clearings and more. These two share and integrate all of their different modalities, making their courses and workshops exciting and exhilaratingly fresh.
Starting off as a BodyTalk practitioner and then moving on to becoming a Core Regeneration therapist, Leigh founded her own company, Sacred Voices, sharing her experiences and the magic of her work.
Core Regeneration became a great passion for this amazing modality and was instrumental in writing the 3rd module, Core Regeneration – Colours and Crystals. She was asked to help with this module after having completed her international course in Colours and Crystals and finishing top of her class.
Her work touches on the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual aspects of the client.

About
Dr. Annie du Plessis
She further qualified as a Counselling Psychologist and practised for many years in her part-time practice. The last 28 years she specialised in medical hypno-analysis.
Dr Annie du Plessis is also the author of a book called “Waar is ons nou?”, which deals with the difficulties and experiences of the children of Dutch emigrants.
About
Alex Harris
Alex became interested in Alternative Healing after she was diagnosed with a spastic colon (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). She found that nothing worked on her from conventional medication to homoeopathic treatments to either clear her IBS to her severe eczema.
She decided to become an Alternative Therapist and started out by attending a course in Core Regeneration, after which her eczema disappeared. Subsequently, she has completed all the modalities. Alex has some Japanese family connections and she continued to study meridians and the 5 elements since she has had the opportunity to visit some experts in the field.
She finally left her job in the hotel industry, and continued studying various courses (including extra modalities in Core Regeneration), and completed a course in Yoga instruction (including Aerial Yoga). During this time, Dr Helene van Diemen asked her to help her rewrite the Core 2 course and she went on to do a stellar job in making it so much more fun and interactive. She has also been teaching Core 2 with great success.
